SB IHT - NO sound!

Just picked up a refurb IHT from Polk via ebay store. Simple, straightforward setup; used the fixed audio out from TV. Turned everything on and got green lights on both the bar and sub. Turned up the volume on the TV, no sound out of the bar. Adjusted the gain control to about the middle position - still no sound.

Then the display light on the bar started to cycle through flashing green and orange. I tried the mute button and it changed the speed of the flashing, but still no sound.

Quite frankly, the switches on top of the bar didn't exactly have a "quality" feel to them; some had a more positive detent feel than others. Any suggestions?

Polk CS on Monday is all I've got. They will fix you right up in short order.

You said you have the adjusted the volume to about 1/2 way. Is this on the TV or the bar. Adjusting the TV volume will do nothing using the fixed output. Sounds like the bar is going into remote setup. Not sure what else to tell you.

I tried increasing the volume on the TV and the bar with no change. I agree that it sounds like the bar is going into remote setup. I bought it for my parents, will try one more time tomorrow at hooking it up.
