I stumbled upon this video on YouTube about the B&W factory tour.

Very Nice Video even if you are not B&W fan. It's safe to say I am not a fan but I enjoy the video.

I could even swear there are Redhead and Blonde in the video.

Awesome video. Great attention to detail and the XO's were sweet. I just don't get why they sound so boring to me???

That is some high-tech equipment they have at B&W; no wonder their speakers cost so much...

Ive seen a few B&W tour video's , thanks for posting this one I have not seen it before.
To me B&W speakers on every single level is extremely hard to beat. Just go check out the Cm9's or even the CM7's on good gear and get blown away. I feel in love with both of these models and almost purchased them outright de to my experience. I can't even begin to say enough about them.

All B&W speakers are fantastic in many ways. I'm a huge fan and will own a few pairs in my Journey.

May I asked what was powering the CM's when you heard them. I demoed them as well as the 68* series and they were powered by an sc-35. IMO there was not a big difference btw the CM series and the 68* series bookshelves. And what was even worse is that I heard a 400 dollar pair of energy bookshelves give both series of B&W's all they wanted and some more. I have been wondering every since, did I just have a bad experience or was I expecting too much from B&W. Just curious.

I heard them On Rotel RSX1560 receiver this was the CM9's and the CM7's on Rotel RSp1069 with a Rotel RB1582 amp wired with all Audioquest speaker wire and IC's. They where are a high end audio store not Best Buy's Magnolia which I tried to listen to them there and failed to hear them as it was noisy as hell and they where wired to a Yamaha receiver.

You had a bad experience. I'm not cool with them being in Best buy as they don't properly demo them. I work for a High end shop and we can properly demo speakers as we have the correct amps to drive everything we sell. We also have good sounding rooms.

I heard them a few times on some high end Mac gear AQ DBS cables through out, and they absolutely bored me. In the same store I went over and heard some Vandy's on a receiver that blew the B&W's away.

Really interesting video, but I have to agree with Ben. Their speakers don't do it for me...of course I haven't heard the 20K+ models? But below that, they were ALL OVER EAST ASIA last year. I got 'tired' of seeing them...kept wondering why this part of the world sold so many of them?

But hey, my ears are 'older' and the highs bother me? Maybe I just can't hear 'good' sound anymore. Not!

If you get a chance get your ears on some Vandy's. Everyone has different tonal taste, but they were the best imaging yet.

I like B&W's, but I also like horns, so maybe it's a neutral sound that I like. Having owned a pair, their construction is fantastic, but I agree that not everyone prefers their sound.

I can see why they are so expensive but I have never heard a pair that made me want to listen to them more.
I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D

Well....it's tasteless to see speakers without hearing them. Since I am now sitting in my HT room and browsing on YouTube videos, I could say I like my Lsi25 with dual PSW1000 when listening to the B&W.

    Good Speakers Need Good Electronics!

    Enjoy another video!
