Monitor 10s?
I saw a pair of Polks in a store (that doesn't sell'em) yesterday and I checked'em out and I'm not sure what they are. They look like 10s. Is that a passive radiator beneath the voice coils? It appeared to be on this set. The tweeter was different, silver around the plate if I recall correctly. They're dusty but look sound. The guy offered to let me check'em out (they weren't hooked up) and said he had test equipment in the back. I wouldn't know what to do with any "test equipment". I would like to listen to them though but I was in a hurry and declined. For now. He offered them up at $225.00 apiece. Somebody on another board told me they weren't worth anywhere near that. Anybody know anything helpful? If so any specs on these (or if not 10s whatever they may be).

Asking price is high, but I don't remember the going rate. Others should be able to supply that...
The test eq the seller has may just be a receiver he has in the back.More later,
