PSW10 constant Loud Buzzing/Humming

I purchased a psw10 from Amazon about 3 months ago. today i was dusting it and when i touched the cone of the driver there was a little static electricity and then it began buzzing/humming really loudly.

i've tried several different outlets and get the same result. it doesn't matter if the audio cables are plugged in or not or even if it's turned on or not. it just makes this loud noise.

I've been googleing for a good 3 hours and haven't found much help. Other people have had this issue and none of them have gotten any answers. what is going on with this thing?

I'm having the same problem with my PSW10 although I've had it for about two years now with no issues previously. Any help would be appreciated.
