About a year ago my PSW111 needed a new back panel unit because of fuses blowing on the original. Sorry I'm not sure what the part is called.
Anyway, recently the sub has started to make a vibrating sound while watching movies with really deep low end sounds.
Anyone have any idea what causes this or if it can be fixed?
The unit is approximately 2 years old.

It may be reaching it's limit, often referred to a bottoming out. First thing you should do is recalibrate everything. Gain on the sub should be at about 50%.

Excuse my ignorance or lack of audio knowledge but what is the "gain" and how would I adjust it.

    Also, thanks for the response.

Gain in this discussion refers to the subwoofer amplifier volume dial position.

The recommended starting position is at 50%, generally meaning that the subwoofer amplifer dial white pointer is pointing straight up (12 o'clock analog hour hand position).

OK......I don't feel too dumb for asking that. But hey at least I'm not trying to make a sub out of a mtotr oil box!!

I did recalibrate everything and set the volume knob at 12:00 and it is much better!! Thanks for the info and for not flaming me.
