I thought something was wrong with my PSW 505 sub-woofer.I had it connected to the Switched outlet of the Pre-Amp,no power. Therefore,I plug it in the wall outlet.Polk PSW 505 sub-woofer works fine.Pre-Amp works fine and sounds good.but, Are there something wrong with the Pre-amp Switched outlet?,or I maybe doing something wrong. thanks

It's not very likely that your pre-amp outlet can handle the 3.15 AMP (or 378 watts?) power draw for the PSW505. More than likely it has a limit of 100-120 watts or 1 amp, at best.
I assume you're just exceeding the specifications? You're not supposed to plug in high wattage devices in a switched outlet on most equipment unless it allows for more current.

Never use those switched outlets.Political Correctness'.........defined

it should at least turn on in standby mode if equipped. but i agree with the above, you can't draw any real current out of those outlets. I have an LED sign plugged into mine and that's about it
