Im looking for a remote trigger that will power up my Xpa-5, i've been doing a lot of reading on wall-warts and want to make sure that i get the right one. Also any help on triggering my Rotel?

Are you using the 120v switched outlet to turn the wall wart on and off? Does the Rotel have a switched outlet?

In the above scenario any small 12v wall wart will work, the trigger hardly flows any current. The key is testing for polarity (+ and -) of the 12v output to be correct for the amp trigger input.

certain panamax's does not have a 117 v trigger it only has a 12v trigger in that case you will need a wall wort plugged into rotel (does it have a switched outlet) .
I had a older panamax it was like 2" tall, it had a place where the 117v triger plug plugs in from the AVR but my newer m5100didnt so I had to purchase a 12v wallwort and the panamax had a ?1/4"? female plug for that , actually the replacement for the old one had no trigger the 5100 did (but needed a wallwort ) . I GREATELY recomend calling panamax !
