Sorry, but I had to do this. I've learned a lot from reading your posts man. You really go into great detail, and I really think that reading your stuff has made my modest system sound as good as it can. Thanks for all the good advice...both directly and indirectly.
You've really got me going on Denon now...thanks to your deep faith in their product. I just wish I could afford that 3803 right now:mad: . It's going to take awhile before I can get my hands on that sucker.
Anyhow....
Thanks!

Thanks very much. Due to other priorities, I'll be cutting back on the forum for a while so I appreciate your recognition. I will also recognize the tireless efforts of others to make this forum the best it can be. Live by the golden rule - make your posts productive, informative, and well written.
You can thank Dan (Mantis) for turning me onto Denon. He feels that product line is high quality and he sells a lot of their stuff. The 3803 is an exceptional match for the RT line and I can recommend it heartily. And the 2900 has been nothing short of phenom for video and audio.

This is a well deserved thread and shows respect for Dr. Spec.
Dr. Spec has always conducted himself and posted in a manner that exemplifies professionalism and technical merit rooted in theory and practical application. Dr. Spec also has an uncanny patience when it comes to dealing with some posts and Mx has really put this virtue of patience to the test at times but Doc held up through the toughest of 'em.
Dr. Spec's knowledge of bass related subjects among other things has given him the envious title of "when Dr. Spec posts, people read what he has to say with keen interest". This is in so much truth that SVS's website has even quoted Dr. Spec on his findings.
Kudos to Dr. Spec. We're all glad to have you and I'm proud to be a member of this humble board. -
He gets my 2 thumbs up.Excellent person to be in here with.I plan on visiting the Doc next time I'm in Buffalo.
He loves the tech spec's and understands them as well.I enjoy reading his posts..

Ahh,
Eff Doc, the horse he rode in on, and the colonel that sent him.
What a blow-hard, what a know-it-all, the dude wouldn't know good sound if it fell out of the sky and clobbered him.
Oh, wait, I'm thinking Dan....sorry.
Yeah, Doc is GREAT!
Cheers,

Yep, Doc rules! We all know that, but I called it early on.
Mantis, your're just jealous because he's been called out by name more often as of late.Make it Funky! -
A good man shares with the knowledge poor. Doc's proven to be a good man.
I hope that we all live up to that standard, regardless of the venue.

Greetings!
I Don't post often-but love to read and learn and laugh out loud.
Many here have helped me get my learn on.
But Ed is just exceptional!
If you're ever on Long Island,Beers are on me.
Thanx Ed!
CHEERS! jefffArt as expression-Not as market campaigns-Will still capture our imaginations. -
I've learned more about set-up and bass issues from Ed in this forum than all my other tech books and owner's manuals combined. In Nam we would have said "Doc is numma one".:DThe Revolution will not be televised.

After the countless bashing of my M&K to show me just how bad it is...
Doc is an alright guy! He has helped me alot!- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
Doc is DEFINATELY one of the good guys. He has been extremely helpful to the forum as a whole and to me personally. He has my respect and gratitude.
