    I suppose what I'm trying to say is that I am aware of the difference that amplifiers and cables can make. I've tried an assortment of gear in place of my Yammy. I agree with ALL of you that it's a POS and is at best worthy of a garage system. The only reason i have it in place, TBH, is because t has HDMI switching on it, and my dad asked me to reinstall the Kenwood X1 system in the den. All I'm saying is that while I learn all that I can about the separates that are out there and shop around for the right deals, I'm gonna upgrade my crossovers. It's a rather inexpensive modification, and I see no harm replacing the oem parts with superior parts. On the upside, I work at RadioShack so I can just take them to work and do them while getting paid :biggrin:

    So I finally found the Duelands on Partsconnexion.com, and am going to grab the new cast ones, unless you other modders think I should be grabbing the old graphite ones. Anywho, everything is starting to fall in place... receiver, amp, xo mods, DIY subs. It's a beautiful thing!
