RC85i in wall speakers vibrate

I have my home theatre set up with a pair of RC85i in wall speakers in the rear. During certain frequencies, one of the speakers make a vibration/rattling sound. I have been trying to troubleshoot it for a while now and believe it is some sort of plastic piece making the sound. If I go up and tap the trim piece with my finger, I can hear the same vibration sound.
I removed the speaker and tried putting a thin felt strip under the trim piece to see if that would help. I checked and tightened all the screws on the front and back of the speakers. All six sandwich screw mounts are firmly attached to the wall. The sounds still persists.
Any suggestions?

So, yeah, it's 8 years later. But was this ever resolved? I have a rattling sound. I cannot get my grill off to inspect the speaker itself.
