My PSW202 subwoofer has no power. Hopeing it's just a fuse but don't know where it is located.

Hello,
The fuse for the bass amplifier is on the other side of the input plate. To remove it you would unplug the AC power cord and take out the screws that go around the circumference of the amplifier's input plate. Then use a putty knife to loosen the plate from the sub's cabinet and pull the complete amplifier away from the cabinet. The fuse will be located near where the AC power cord goes through the input plate. There will be two wires going to the internal woofer, they have clips on them that lets you remove them.
In all likelihood the amplifier will need to go to Polk's service center to be repaired. Give Polk's CS a call on Monday at 1-800-377-7655 and they can give you more details.
Regards, Ken -

Thanks Ken. I was afraid of that. $$$$$$$ -
I believe the repair is fairly reasonable, it used to be around $60.00, but may have changed. Well worth it, in my opinion.

My PSW202 just croaked too. opened it up fuse is blown. hoping a trip to radio shack will solve the problem. If not, the "new"version of this sub is going for 99 bucks on amazon! might want to consider that before paying 60 bucks to fix the old one
