Just picked up a pair of FX1000's and they really fill the back quite a bit more than the RT55's they replaced.
Now to mount the 55's as the surround back speakers (they are darn heavy).
Then back to the quest for the 3000's and CS1000P

Sounds like your building a nice surround system. Pic's would be cool.Dan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -
I'm watching Inception and through my rt5000p system right now, and VERY happy
Best of luck to find the fronts and center!design is where science and art break even. -
I don't know if you're near NY/NJ, but I'm actually selling a cs1000p in excellent condition. Send me a PM or email if interested.

Interesting comments on the fx1000 vs rt55. I got the RT3000p towers up front but never got the surrounds mounted. I picked up a rt800 and rt55 set up on the cheap to consider downsizing. I guess I will have to really A/B compare all parts. I never considered how large a "bookshelf" rtt55 would be and definately didn't consider the bass port out the back. Please post if you figure out a good mount.

I am thinking of making a little lip that will mount to the wall. Or maybe just some l brackets to hang the power port on. It looks like this will also angle the speakers slightly downward directly to the main listening position.________________
