Whats up everyone?
It was a terrible day for driving as the weather is terrible. Snow snow snow all the time now. It just won't quit. But in all this mess , we did however do a pretty cool job.

System is
Klipsch Reference speakers and sub
Pioneer Elite receiver
Samsung Blu ray player
Samsung 7000 series 58 inch Plasma mounted on wall.
HD cable
Ipod dock
Audioquest wire
Universal remote control over RF.

This was a refreshing system as I have not installed Klipsch speakers in years. I do however remember how damn dynamic they are. After calibration and positioning we sat down for a demo clip and teach the customer how to use his remote control. We had Iron Man on Blu ray and ran the opening scene when Tony gets taken. So Tony is getting a picture with a Soldier for a Facebook post and a Bomb goes off , well it sounded like it was in the room, everyone in the room including me jumped just a bit. The system hit so hard clean and fast it was very ill call it "real" sounding. Man what sheer impact and force this system can produce and to top all that off it's an entry level Reference Klipsch system. I think all the speakers and sub was under 3000.00.
The customer ordered a custom Center channel stand / cabinet that is going underneath the TV , we just propped up the Elite receiver box to use a center channel stand so he can use it now and much better then on the floor. Also he is getting taller Left and Right Speaker stand bySound Anchor I believe so he had a pair which where 2 short. Even so the system still performed excellent.
I'll snap some pic's when the Center channel and main stands are all in place. The Center channel stand will be 80 inches wide so no wires will be seen at that time. For now you can see the speaker plates underneath the tv.

pretty clean - why did you have the speaker wires coming outta the front wall so close to the TV?

Customer wanted them to come out from behind his cabinet he is having built. The speakers will live on taller stands next to the cabinet about where they are now. The center channel speaker will be directly underneath the TV 1 inch down.

    Nice work.

I love klipsch for HT, they're very dynamic and play reference levels effortlessly. They'll
always be a spot in my HT for klipsch.

    Are those RF-81's

The cabinet came in and I went out to reset up the system.
The center at the proper height made a huge difference then sitting on the receiver box. I added a Apple TV along with a new Airport Extreme router. He loves his system as he can control the Apple Tv ,The wife and him can use their Ipads to show pictures , music on the screen with Airplay , Watch a video and send it up on the screen. He could not believe how damn cool Apple Products can be.

His system is rock solid . Calibrated the system today and it sounds awesome. It's being driven by a Pioneer Elite SC-35 and wired with Audioquest 14-4 bi wiring for the fronts and doubled up on center and rears( they are not bi wire-able). The entire system sounded as one. The sub was smooth and detailed. You really thought the speakers where providing the bass . We watched Iron man again opening clip and the center channel sounded like it made the bomb go off. Amazing how good Mcacc is. Amazing on how good Klipsch theater is even at this level.
Simple system but highly effective just Blu ray, Cable and Apple TV along with a Ipod connection from the Pioneer Elite but that probably will not get used that much anymore as the Airplay is awesome. They absolutely love it. I'm very happy for them.

Here are a few pic's I took today.

I am now motivated to go finish mine, although I do dread sanding drywall...
    Very nice work.
