Yeah it is in a geeky kind of way. Glad you were interested in it though.

I'm not into celebrity and **** like that, but thats not how this happened. I play guitar a lot and stuff and Rivers was one of the most accessible musicians I've even encountered. I mean, the guy is reclusive in nature, but once you get to know him and talking his language (music) it's amazing how fun it can be. I mean the guy studied music at Harvard ferchrissakes. He's the best musician as far as theoretics are concerned than anyone listed on this thread thus far...INCLUDING Petrucci from Dream Theatre. Understanding theoretics is one thing...having emotion as well is pure talent.

Another great album that I own that is up there with OK Computer is 'Lost Souls' by The Doves. That album is incredible. I can't remember the exact year it was released, so it may have been around 2000, 2001. Does anyone here listen to them or even heard of them?

Yep, I have Doves - Last Broadcast. Want to get Lost Souls, it's the better of the 2.

Hey Dem. Good stuff. Mogwai kicks ****, Sigur Ros, Eels. You should check out The Beta Band.

Josh, are you checking out any Radiohead Dates? I know Dem is. I'll be in Toronto on the 16th. OK Computer is my favorite all time album. It's incredible on vinyl.

Radiohead is playing in New Orleans in October, but I'm not going to be here. I'm planning on moving to Chicago in mid-September. I really want to see them live. OK Computer is also my absolute favorite album. Hopefully, they'll be in the Chicago area in the Spring, but I probably won't have enough money to buy tickets if they do...well, my girlfriend did just get a new job with Marshall Fields...Speaking of moving to Chicago--can anyone here help me out with a job? :)

wodom....This may not work out for you, but I got 2 lawn seats for sale for the Alpine Valley (between Milwaukee & Chicago) show on August 23rd. I just want face value for them. I'm going to the St. Louis show the next day because I have front and center seating. I live in the Milwaukee area.

Let me know if you want them. This is the opportunity of a lifetime.....because Radiohead in the states is a rare event and may never happen again.

Demiurge, that would be awesome, but unfortunately I don't live in the Chicago area yet. I'm still stuck in south Louisiana. If I was there, I'd grab them in a heartbeat. Thanks for the offer. I actually may be around for the New Orleans show. My girlfriend went by an apartment complex earlier today to check it out for me and I found out that they won't accept me as a tenant unless I have a job up there, or can show them a bank statement proving that I have enough in savings for a years worth of rent (which I don't). Well, how the hell am I supposed to get a job up there if I don't have a place to live? I'm stuck down here unless I can somehow get a job in the Chicago suburbs without actually being there. Anyone in the Chicago area here that can help me out with a job? ;) Sorry to rant, but I'm kinda pissed.

Yeah, thats what I figured. No biggie.

As far as a job...I have NO idea. The problem with Chicago is that it's effin' expensive. It's really hard to move there from out of state....you really need a good nest egg for that and a good job lined up. What kind of work are you looking for?

    The Pixies - Doolittle

    (burp) released April 17th, 1989... I suck.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore
