With possibly some of the most memorable playoff games being played today, I thought it would be fun to do a Top 10 for the NFL....starting with running backs. Given years in the league and total performance, give us your top 10 running backs still in the NFL. Being a Bears fan I'll throw in a kicker and argue Matt Forte should be in the top 10 of current, relevant running backs. Let's hear some lists...

Its a shame Barry Sanders retired when he did, he could have set records that would never be broken.

yeah.. that's what happens when the team you play for isn't willing to try and win.. he should have tried to force his way out but they would have never let him go, retiring or playing for a losing team were his only two options.

I heard one very strange version of why he retired...which really didn't put the Lions franchise in a good light. He was unbelievable...

I'm curious why you didn't include Michael Turner. After all, he did lead the NFC in rushing. Pro-Bowl and all that jazz.

Of all the youngsters, I personally like Jamaal Charles. That guy is lightning in a bottle! I don't recall a game where he got more than maybe 15 carries a game and he still put up 100+ yards a week most weeks.

He reminds me of Mike Wallace in Pittsburgh. It's not so much "if" he'll break a big play as much as "when"...

LT would have to be my #1... he's the only first ballot HOF lock in the league right now.
