Ken,
I have a new to me set of LSi9's that I just hooked up and got my "listen on". The right speaker's top woofer seems to be toast. It sounds fine at very low volumes, but when driven to moderate levels, when playing notes from a piano, you can hear it crackling and breaking up. My 1st thought was the tweeter, but that has been ruled out.

These LSi9's are amazing and I want to get them fixed to hear the true potential!

Help me bro!

Best regards,
Eric.

Well, after this thread in the trouble shooting area and an email to Polk Customer Service inquiring on the price and availability of a new driver, I got no response. Kind of odd.

I found that calling them directly , brings the best response. they tend to be very helpful and willing to supply information..Thats more than I can say for other companies..lol..as a sidenote..I usually drop the bass on a suspect driver and find the threshold of its failure..this way i can listen to something till i can replace it. .Good Luck.

read the reviews, do the research but most importantly...Listen and make your own decisions.

    Hello,
I'm sorry you're having a problem. It's probably best to wait until they're open again on Monday and give them a call at 1-800-377-7655. If I had a driver to send you I certainly would, but I'm afraid I don't.
    Cheers, Ken
