alan,
Care to go for 3?
davis,
Not that there's not already a 100 or so around, but have you created a thread asking for SRS amp guidance? Post what you've tried and then sit back and watch us all spend your money...
On the other hand... nothing wong with moving on.More later,
Tour...

Looking good but your TV is too small now. You need a big 80 incher with that wall of speakers. Dang, I envy you guys in the big cities. We never see those things around here. You guys in Denver seem to have a set available all the time. You could lay one on it's side for a center channel.Polk Audio SDA SRS 2.3TL

I have posted threads about amps and had several opinions. I just cant justify spending that much money for amps and a preamp just to see if I like them. I have all Klipsch in the rest of the house and like to move things around and the Klipsch just dont need the power so I am just going to sell these and move on. Sorry I didnt mean to highjack this thread. -

Tempting, but no. I need to start working on my current speakers before I even think about buying more .... he says, as he searches Craigslist. But, if they were 1.2TLs... :biggrin:Looking good but your TV is too small now. I agree, Denver does seem to be an SDA hotspot. And you're right, the TV looked fine until I added those monoliths next to it! Thanks for the compliment on the setup. -

Nah..He needs a projector and a 150" screen that is accoustically transparent....basically just build a see through wall in front of them lol.....

LOL One of my friends already suggested that! If I did that though, my dedicated 106" theater downstairs might not get as much use. Two rooms in my house are competing against each other...
Hmmm, that would be cool though... <slap, slap, shake head>...You guys are a bad influence, I need to stay focused on modding my speakers first. lol -

Ooh, only 250 miles away. If I could get a pair if 1.2TL's I could use my pair of 2.3TL's for surrounds and have the ultimate waste of super nice speakers. Probably better to use the 2.3's for a center channel.:biggrin:Polk Audio SDA SRS 2.3TL

As one who is crazy enough to have 2 pairs of these set up in a system let me throw in my 2 cents. My system is set up for 5.1 MUSIC. If you use one set for the fronts and the other for the rears you can tell your pre/pro or receiver that you have only fronts to listen to the fronts and tell it that you have only rears to listen to just the rears. This of course requires a chair in the sweet spot that can be rotated 180 degrees. It also requires matching amps or least the same manufacturer to be fair. In my case I have bi-amped both sets one with a pair of stereo maps an the other with a pair of mono blocks and a stereo amp. If you do it this way you can have a fully functioning system except for the actual down time for the upgrades. Of course you'll need to spend some money on an adequate center or two and a sub but you have to remember that for anyone silly enough to have a pair of the big boys shouldn't be concerned about the money part of this, Good Luck, Phil

Interesting idea, Phil. I'd need to move my speakers to another room to attempt what you are suggesting though, since my current room's dimensions, hallways, etc wouldn't allow that. I like where I have them setup though, so will probably just do the A/B cable shuffle when doing my tests.
