don't collect any other type of glass. It's not a huge collection but it displays well. I shop for bargains now mostly and some of the larger pieces i don't have.

You can see some it in the showcase.

    Good point there.

Thers's no thrill of the hunt involved anymore.
It's just, I'm so rich, I don't have to spend the time and search for anything.

But I do like that collection and how it's displayed alot. Must have been fun for the original owner to amass all of it. The add said, 10,000 pieces....WOW

I forgot to add that I buy cool art objects to. The crystal, porcelin(sp) and also animated movie figurines or stuffed charactures. Oh , how could I forget....Chess sets. Chess boards too. I have some nice ones.Even an Ohmes walnut set from the 60's in mint cond. (thrift store find with a antique Drueke board also for 30.00!!!) Love the game!
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

oh, I've gotten onto a Spawn figure thing and they're hard to find, but this collection would just be cool to get just because there so many pieces! 10,000 pieces for $10,000 = at $10 each $100,000 worth assuming they're only worth that much each... and assuming anybody will buy em' from you lol

shot glasses...now I have to build a bar for our game room to show them off. No longer collect baseball cards but I came across what I had from my pre-teen years(going back a bit now!) in a shoebox in my parent's attic. A friend told me I have some serious $$ in there although I hear the market isn't what it was a few years ago. Some examples for you BB card nuts are: 3 Johnny Bench rookie cards, 4 various Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, Sandy Koufax, Roberto Clemente, Bob Gibson, etc...fairly young Joe Torre when he was with the Braves. Wife says to sell them and finally do the upgrade from an avr to pre-pro set up but I know I'll miss them when they are gone.
Yep, my name really is Bob.

You'll miss them when 20 years from now, prices skyrocket again and those cards are worth more than "Some Serious $$".

I collect early CDs. Basically, CD made between 1982 - 1989 in Japan or West Germany. CDs from that era were generally better made and because I grew up with the format, I am fascinated by the history of it. Here' re some examples....

[I'm starting to collect early US made CDs as well (the first CD made in the US for consumers was, naturally, Springsteen's "Born in the USA"). CDs like these, which I doubt will ever get a proper reissue....

I have about 3000 Hot Wheels....all the way back to '69. Still in blisterpacks. Probably 99% of my collection are still sealed. I have lots of limited edition pieces with only a couple hundred made.

I also have a hundred or so unbuilt model cars and trucks...still sealed of course.

But, as of late, I have been on a serious vinyl binge. I am at around 1100 or so at the moment, with a couple hundred more that I am currently "grading" and adding to the mix.

    Thanks Tracy,

It's been fun collecting them. It might be a little sad, but when I was looking for a new house the cabinet location in kitchen and the plant shelf in the living room were kind of what clinched the floor plan. I knew I could finally get all of them out of the closet and put them on display.
