DSW 500 Fluttering Noise

I have a DSW 500 powered subwoofer with that is making a fluttering noise. It makes the noise even when it is not hooked up to anything and moved to a separate room. At first I thought it was a ground loop issue but it wouldn’t make the fluttering noise when not plugged in to anything. I am just wondering if there is any way to fix this or if the Sub needs to be serviced. Thanks to anyone that can help me, I am very new at setting up and using this type of audio equipment.
