    I am afraid that the Ravens are a good team not a great team. They have trouble beating teams with good quarterbacks (this season alone Big Ben, Brady, Matty Ice, and Carson Palmer). Okay, you can argue Palmer had a down year but he beat us once for sure and almost a second time. They went about as far as I thought they would. :cool:

    Really got the feeling that the 'Hawks and Bears are playing for 2nd place in the NFC... The Pack's just too strong, too balanced.

    Clay Mathews, Jr. is a one-man wrecking crew... God, how I wanted the Browms to draft him... keep him in the family.

    I thought fer sure the Falcons would be the top contender for the NFC.

    Having been on the Falcons roller coaster in the 70's and 80's,, I see that nothing much has changed. After the first half,, we watched the British sitcom "Absoultely Fabulous",,glad I did.

    LOL... Your birds are a lot closer to the top of the mountain than my Brownies... so you're not gonna get much sympathy here...

    That said the closer you get, the more painful the pain...

    EDIT: Good job in the 1st half Bears... Hawk's have to do more to help Cutler be Cutler in half #2.

    In many ways this game showed that a lot of the Patriots are still a pretty young and transitional team. The old Pats knew how to play defense....how to keep the game forever close and how to close it out!

    Pats lack consistency. And, well, the Jets haven't been to the Big One for a while so that's cool. Congrats to NY and shame on Atlanta and the Pats!!

    I'm going to go out on the limb and make my pick.

    Jets vs. the Packers. I think the Jets want it more than the Steelers (but we'll see). But the Packers will take the Big One! The Packers are CLOSING or peaking at the right time--and I'm not even a fan of GB. But they look like they can do it, this year.

    We'll see!

    You and me both! I hardly watched much of the game, because I predicted that the Pats would have one of their 'flame outs' BEFORE the game even started--that's how sure I was of a LOSS. And I was right!

    Horrible game by the Pats. Just awful. I'm really glad that as I get older I get less and less emotionally invested in these games.

    It's so wonderful to see the once all powerful Colts and Patriots finally reach the end of the road from time to time.
