Xlr balanced inputs new question-tavo

Sorry, I had another xlr thread somewhere. This is regarding the audio cables I seen online at monoprice. One end of the cable is rca (which I can use on my Onkyo receivers pre-out), the other end of the cable is xlr (which I can connect to my Emo amp). Does anyone in this community know if that arraignment is giving me the true intended purpose of a xlr balanced cable?

No, the RCA is unbalanced so the cable is unbalanced. Just stick with RCA<->RCA. -
That is in effect, just an adapter from one to the other, zero benefit.HT: Polk SDA SRS 2.3 main fronts, Klipsch RC-25 center channel, Polk RTi-150 rears, M&K V1B sub, Denon AVR-5800, Samsung 52" LCD, Sony BDP-S550
