I'm looking for something in North Carolina..preferrably. I manipulated my search titles on google several times and drew several blanks. I'm not sure where to begin. Do you guys know of any classes or seminars in this area? I'll consult this thread as well as local shops that do installments.

I would like to raise my basic understanding of home theater knowledge to the level where I can install as an occupation/side occupation.

Any suggestions??

Just lurk on HTF for two months and read all the basics/starter pages and you'll be all set. It's not rocket science.

Hey all you need to know to wow your customers is a good display device, a great reciever that will decode dts , a good dvd player and insist on high quality, great sounding Polk speakers. Set it up and put a dts demo disk on and wow them.

I am being a bit toung and cheek but I am very serious about using polk speakers. The RT line will blow anything in its price range away. The LSI line will compare nicely to the other high end speakers. Have fun putting smiles on peoples faces.
