When I came back to CT 6 months ago I meet this real nice guy who was friends with one of my best female friends. The guy that died was named Henry. His last name was real hard to pronounce so I didn't even try to remember it. My friend didn't know it either. Well just before Christmas he went in for high dose chemo treatment. He didn't want to go, but my friend and I talked him into it. He had both our names and numbers. We were freaked out that he didn't call or show up and was over do to be out. Well today I got a call from my friend. He died and that is pretty much all we know. He had very little family. He didn't get along with his brother, and his mom is outa touch so to say. We don't even know if his family knows he died or not. This is the guy that saved me when I stopped breathing a while back.
I just hope his family is notified, and he died peacefully.

I guess that could really change your perspective on it to some degree, knowing this guy saved your life, and now he's gone. Such a shame. :frown:George Grand wrote: »

Welcome to life.
Or death. My friend is a wreck because her and I talked him into going. Who knows how long he would have lasted but this just sucks. Especially not knowing anything about what happened.
Thanks guys for the prayers.

In life one can never know what choices made lead to what outcomes--causal links are complex. As you say, maybe it was just his time. Remember what was good and comfort your friend.
And, remember to take care of yourself, as well!

Really sorry to hear about your friend and your lifesavers death. God put him in your path and took him away a little while later.
Life is shorter than we'd like or expect it to be in many circumstances but I'm glad for your sake he lived long enough to impact anothers fate for the better. Now that was a life with meaning. May God bless him as well as he blessed you.
Thanks for sharing your loss with us. I'm thinking of my life's important friendships now.

It's not yours or your friends fault Ben. You did what you thought was best and that's all any friend could ask for from another. God took him in his time he'll take you and me when he sees best. Maybe you gave your friend a few more days he wouldn't have had. No one knows. Don't beat yourselves up, I'd be happy to have friends that were as concerned for me as you two were for him. May he rest in peace. And may you and your friend find peace in life as well.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion."
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....
