Alcohol consumption

Just curious... in no way a moral judgement or assertion of character or anything else.. just pure curiosity about my fellow men....
How many nights per week do you drink alcohol? What is the average level of consumption? Not looking for some detailed analysis.. just responses like "I usually drink a 6-pack most evenings" or "I drink 2-3 beers a couple nights a week."
I don't care in the least who says what.. if we could answer anonymously, that would be fine. As I said, I'm just curious.

I try to keep my daily alcohol intake to at least a minimum of 3 Beers a day:D after work but sometimes I just don't have the fridge stocked. If I don't have any oh well... no biggie.
NOW, if the day was tough I throw down a six pack and if I have the beer I'll could probably get to 9 real easy. The weekends are another story because I'll throw on Nascar and start cooking and I'll throw em back all day long and don't even care to count.
I'm not real big on running the bars but I'll stop maybe one time a week have a few beers and take my party home. I normally don't get plastered every time I drink but when I was younger watch out.
I think for the most part I have a few to take the edge off but I really enjoy getting snookered when the company is GOOD.:D

Usually, I only drink on weekends. Friends come over, good times. Usually about 8 beers does the trick sometimes more depending on how late the night lasts.
Lately, I've been having 1 or 2 when I get home after work just to unwind. Everyone at work seems to be on holidays except me.SDA-2a, Anthem Pre-2L, Anthem Amp 1, MF A324 DAC, Rotel RCD1070

I drink Cheerwine and Pepsi:D 5 cans a day (if not more)- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

2 light beers with dinner every night, without fail.
If entertaining friends, I'll switch to sour mash and diet Sprite, or straight single malt if the company is right (read men only) and decent cigars get broken out.
I never drink to the point of being drunk, just a very mild buzz to enjoy the evening.

One micro-beer most every night. More beer on the weekends.

Maybe once a month.....

Yeah, about once or twice a month.
Actually, I've recently discovered that Maryland has some very nice wineries around (about 12). I took a trip to one last week (Boordy Winery) and went to a Reggae Wine Festival at Linganore Winery in Mount Airy, Maryland this past weekend. Did some heavy taste tests that day!
Now I have 7 bottles of various wines in the house. I'm heading to the beach the first of August for 3 days, so kiss them bottles goodbye!
I know there was a thread on wines some time ago. Tell me folks, wanna rekindle the wine thread?

Most days I'll pick up a 40 on the way home. When I'm on the off shift I'll just sit at the computer and pound 'em down.Make it Funky!

We have a lot of wineries around here, also. In fact there are at least three within 15 minutes, and probably 6-8 more within an hour. Nicely, the local (national) grocery store carries a good selection of the local wines.
We go to one of the wineries consistently for our no-kid dates - high on a hill with a great view and lots of outdoor seating. Usually two bottles of wine and a little food and nice tip and I'm about 50 bucks lighter. Live, folky-type tunes most weekends.
Here is a link to a guy we catch every so often. His 'partner' on the weekend gigs is a friend of mine, and plays/sings with a group I'm in. They go to KC, Mempis and Nashville occasionally.

I like a few when working on cars, even more when cutting grass. I find that one or two before listening allows me to ignore any obvious flaws in my system.
Total:
3 while working on the car, 4 more while cutting grass and another two before cranking the system.

i'm to drunk right now to answer this question.
Just kidding. I rarely drink during the week... if I do.. It's usually a glass or two of wine with dinner. THe wine takes the edge off without getting drunk.. and without the horrible hangovers red wine can give ya.
On the weekends... about twice a month.. i drink more. Usually mixed drinks with Vodka in em. Or Tequilla mixed drinks are great too.
When i'm at a friends house and in the party mood.. i drink what everyone else is drinking.. which is usually some kind of bottle beer. Corona, Dos XX, Henrys, Fat Tire, Moose Drool, Full Sail, Kokanee, Molson.PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

I drink about once a week which is friday nights. A lot of what my friends get is junk so thats usually what I end up drinking (IE the cheapest **** with the highest proof) Other than that it is a lot of Bacardi, Bacardi 151*, ect.
We have a lot of great micro breweries around here.
One of my favorites is called Bear Republic. They make a brew called Racer 5 I like a lot. Another brewery about 10 mins away from me is called Lagunitas. They put out some great stuff too- The Hairy Eyeball, Brown Shugga, and of course IPA. There is also Anchor Steam which is really good stuff as well.
