I felt like 12v always seems to come second around here, but who doesn't love hot ba, I mean cars with nice curves. I didn't spend a ton of time there, but wanted to throw a bone to the car nuts on the board. Sorry if some pics are out of sync, I'm going to go get my drink on instead of fixing it.

You know, it was not NEAR as flashy as the last time I was here, in what, 2006? I was really suprised, there wasn't a whole lot 12v wise to look at. I think Pioneer had the best booth, with the 3 Camaros and the Aston Martin, and the product layout was clean.
Nothing really groundbreaking, I did notice more 'digital' amplifiers, smaller cases, clean looks - but other than that, kind of weak compared to what I was expecting.

Most of them end up at SEMA and the various national competitions/shows anymore. That and the market dropped out from under itself when the economy went in the dumper.Expert Moron Extraordinaire

I think the trend with car audio brands seems to be moving away from these kinds of shows. Ive heard other mention how light the turnout was at last year's show. Their sponsorship of the car audio competition scene is virtually non existent.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

Cool! Joe's a good dude and has done a lot to promote car audio. His Elite Summer Nationals is one of the top 2 or 3 shows all year. His Team Elite guys have racked up a ton of world championships too. If youre doing business with his shop, youre in good hands.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

Looks like Lacy from DB Drive. I worked on another one of their model's scion tc, i dont remember her name though. My old boss was sponsored by DB Drive.Having never been to one of these shows, do they have vehicles that you can actually get into the car and listen to the product, or are they all flash?
Most do, but only a handful are actually setup for SQ. DLS usually has their competition cars/trucks there...there's a few others. Most of the ones you can listen to are more for show though. And the majority of the one's Russman posted usually arent the ones you can sit in.

yeah he is truly an asset to the industry. he has been nothing but helpful and cuertious at the same time without any of the "holier than thou" attitude that many guys in the industry seem to have. ive got everything installed now and he agreed to let me use his rta meter and software to start fine tuning the setup. he also gave me about an hour of his time the other night with some inital level and TA setup, all the while he had a high priority/very expensive mercedes he was needing to finish up sitting in his bay but took time out for me.
