It really is very poorly written and in my book if you are a reviewer by trade and something like that is written, you loose all credibility with me. I would be embarassed to be associated with that writer. But then that's one of the reasons AA isn't even a blip on my radar.

P.s. and while this is a thread about Polk, I've seen the same shoddy writing for other brands as well.
You should see the picture of him on his "profile" over there.
As far as the LSiM's go, at Polkfest they were impressive. And HEAVY too! They needed some work in the crossover department but Al even said they hadn't finalized it yet. I would love to be at CES to hear them now. But overall, if teh crossovers were sorted out to tame some of the anomalies in the very high end and that midrange hump, they are very good speakers. No, strike that, they are GREAT speakers.
So much so that I immediately started seriously considering unloading my Amazings and replacing them with LSiMs. So there may be another pair of Amazings up for grabs in the near future.Expert Moron Extraordinaire

The new LSi's at PolkFest were very impressive! Even though the x-overs weren't sorted out yet you could still get a feel for what they were capable of. I'm hoping it becomes a very successful product upgrade for Polk.
So Audioholics took what was probably a press release from Polk and did the old "put lipstick on a pig" and turned it into an "overview" of a new product, and made editorial comments without ever really experiencing the product. I wouldn't expect anything more from the "National Enquirer" of audio websites.DKG999

That's what it looked like to me, a press release that was massaged a bit.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2

That's what it looked like to me, a press release that was PLAGARIZED and edited to fit their agenda.
