...Biting cold winds, icy windshields and driving snow getting you down? 2.gif ...Come on down and warm up in sunny Florida! 3.gif
And while your here...pick up the most beautiful set of SDA's you'll ever see!

Polk Audio SDA-1C's in Florida

These are the same gorgeous speakers that I bought from Eric (Conradicles). I started these in a previous FS thread with some other things and realized they deserve their own listing. I can't seem to find our camera since Christmas, so I borrowed these pics from Eric per his permission, for they are unchanged from original listing. "Standard version" with pin/blade. Upgraded IC cable included as well as extra floor spikes. They look stunning! If showroom condition existed for vintage speakers - these would certainly fit the bill. The only flaw is a scratch at the bottom of the speaker which can only be seen if it's flipped upside down. Eric truly did an amazing job with these!

More Info

Upgrades include:

- Larry's Rings on all but tweeters
- Upgraded Xovers (Dayton, Mills)
- RDO tweeters
- Ben's silver IC cable
- Spiked feet
- End caps done in a beautiful piano-black finish

Same great price as before...$700 - Pickup only

One of my favorite SDA and given the work an tweaks that have been done, not a bad price at all.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I'm leaning towards Totem. Which is something that should work a little better in my closed off smaller room. The only way these sounded good (long wall) made living situation too unfreindly, even to me. So, someone else will get to enjoy these beauties!

I haven't heard Totem myself, but I've heard nothing but good things about them. Good luck with the new speakers!

I'm heading to Orlando this weekend, to see the fella with the big ears! I could bring 'em (just don't tell my wife - I'll surprise her later ). That should be close enough for anyone to get.

This is a killer deal, I'm surprised these are still here. Tell ya what, to sweeten the deal whichever Polkie buys these, I'll send you a complete set of tweeter rings with screws for free.

    Thats a sweet deal Jesse.

If I had the extra coin and the room I would have already bought them.

I'll sweeten the deal even more...whoever gets these I will give my services free of charge to further upgrade the crossovers.
The Daytons are great budget capacitors, but if the new owner ever wants to try some caps further up the chain, just send the new parts and crossovers to me and I'll perform the mods for free. I am an IPC certified Solderer and Solder Trainer.

It's like angels are falling out of the sky. Thank you so much Larry and Eric!

There ya go guys...what more could you ask for? The family has come together to help. If you got the room, the cash and a SUV, you can have one of the nicest pairs of 1C's and take them to the highest SQ level possible with only the cost of a few capacitors, not that you have to - they sound quite good already.
