I've worked out some new demo products for the program so if you're interested in them....keep your eyes peeled for the thread(s).

Surround Bar 6000 - Drselect, Leroyjr1, Slinger182, Madmax, Earthy & Bigdawg
Wireless F/X - Earthy, Dmara, Pearsall001, Huck344 & Knucklehead
MicroPro Subwoofer 1000 - Demiurge, Shack, Xk4094dg, Cnh & Rdb2001
DSW PRO 500 - Face, Punkroc, Conradicles & Lessisnevermore
Blackstone TLP2/TLP3 - Vettec6r, Mmadden28, Dkg999, Keiko

I may also get some MicroPro 2K & 3K's but I'm not sure in regards to quantity.....and usually just take what I can get and distribute it as such.

NOTE: A new FTC requirement from here on out is that all demo's and their subsequent review must contain a disclaimer that the product being reviewed is being "borrowed" or in other words, not purchased by the "reviewer". I'll work out the legal issues with Polk in the interim but for now, all reviews will be submitted directly to me offline.

I'll update the threads next week. Half of you don't do what we ask of you anyways, so this shouldn't impact you very much.

Whomever that recent in-wall guy is that Kyle and I helped with the install...please drop me a line. I potentially have what I mentioned months ago available in the near future for you but need to speak to you directly.

The information for all of these products can be found in the product pages. The wireless stuff is really cool and the feedback for Polk is very important in regards to these in particular.

Good, that'll save me trying to find a way to run my subs in the rear. Does it do lfe or just right/left input? Do you have a link to the specs?

    Thanks

Very interesting!!! The wireless FX and wireless MicroPro would be fun to demo together if possible. I understand that is a lot of stuff going out to one person at a time, but if it could be worked out that would be interesting to see if you got much interference between all of it.

    My eyes are peeled....

As stated to Edbert, Conradicles....bug me in a week, make sure your shipping information is current and you may be surprised. I usually hook up first come first serve when they launch so it's survival of the fittest. The subwoofers are coming later, so give that a couple weeks in type sight.

The wireless FX gear looks great. Looks like a perfect way to add surround to my system. I was already planning on it for this spring, it would be great to get my ears on it first.

I'd be VERY interested in demo'ing the MP2k! Over time, I picture the speaker side of my rig evolving into a pair of LSi9's with a pair of stereo subs...which would most likely end up being a pair of MP2K's.

I'd be interested in demo'ing the DSW Pro500 as well. I'd give it a shot in my 2 channel rig, but I'd mainly be interested in that for my HT system.

Wouldn't mind getting my ears on the Blackstones either...

While I'm thinking of it...sorry I never got a review up of the OWM's that I demo'd. Through out the course of my accident and everything, I can't really remember what my impressions of them were. I do remember it being favorable though.

The FX seems like a perfect solution for me. Right now my rears are on their backs behind the couch. At some points along the rear wall I could not get the cable behind the baseboards so they are showing and I don't like that. We just got a new couch that needs to sit away from the wall due to the recliners on each end, this speaker would sit perfectly beind it and would give me the dispersment I was looking to get. Seeing as we are usually not included in the demos, I will wait for the review to come out (and the price) before I go ahead. Looking forward to it!

I'd be interested in the wireless sub. Actually I want to add a second sub behind my couch and don't feel like running the wires 20+feet.

Will be out of the country during spring break in March. But here for the duration before and after and I doubt that with shipping and demoing much will happen before my short time in Greece?

Mark, I wouldn't want to put you in the same position as the HM demo so if there were enough interest from Canadians (here and potentially from our Canadian digital forum) could you approach your Canadian dealer and see if he would be willing to provide for a Canadian demo as this would be the only way to go, straight from the US would be a nightmare again. Willow is in my area and so are a few other Polkies and I wouldn't be surprised a few mebers from digitalhome canada might want to participate in such demo (of course if approved by the site administrator). Some may also be interested in the east cost (Quebec, Montreal) along with folks in Toronto area. This could be manageable and cost effective for Polk if done from Canada's representation.

Polk has to do some to keep their Canadian consumers. The only few products I have seen from Polk during the holiday season is the RM6750 on sale as a package and a few RTi 4. Polk doesn't seem to be represented in most Canadian stores nowadays. Since its introduction, the only place I've seen the HM offered was from BB online and Crutchfield I believe. Most other Polk models are nowhere to be found in Canada IMO (for some reasons Canadian stores are moving away fro Polk in favor of cheap HTIBs, Bose and other cheapy brands).

The shipping stalemate between Canada and the US is what kills demos for you folks. It's not that Polk doesn't want to support you but that it's such a hassle to handle multi-receiver, pre-paid shipping.

Honestly, the only solution I can suggest is that you Canadiens pick up the tab for shipping amongst yourselves.

I can and will provide the product but if you want to demo it, you guys have to handle the fees between one another. When the demo actually ends? We'll cross that road when we come to it.

If you want to rally your local Maple Leaves, go ahead and I'll work it on my end. If it's only you and one other dude, don't expect a miracle. Get it? Polk cannot just write off stuff based on the hassle of the return and the HM deal was a creation of myself and Polkie Len.

Mark, I realize what the problem was with the HM thus the reason for suggesting such demo would be better handled (financially wise by the Canadian rep). I am far from saying Polk and you are not taking care of us, quite the opposite as I realize what you have done for me and that unfortunately it was not necessary in the best interest of Polk (financially).

I am however just pointing out that Polk products (not cause by Polk but rahter Canadian stores) are no longer readily offered in Canadian stores for some reasons and for the benefit of Polk I was suggesting the Canadian rep handles this by providing demos or other ways possible that can benifit Polk in Canada.

I also realize you can not send demo speakers in Canada solely for a pair of Canucks. If at least the product was available in some Canadian stores, my dem o would be simple: "buy, test, keep ior return" but unfortunately the product is not available and if like the latest 2010 newer products, I don't get my hopes up to even "buy to demo".

    Cheers!

I'm aware of who the representative is. He has enough to do already and Polk's representation in Canada has nothing to do with him and more to do with a bigger picture. Everyone in the home office to include the Canada base is doing everything they can to establish Polk as a solid entity up there....and have been for the last couple years. It's not easy and I'm sure Polk appreciates the suggestions, thank you.
