The M70's go plenty low, so I would set the x-over at 80hz or maybe even set the fronts to large so bass is sent to them also. You'll definitely want to upgrade the sub though to keep up with the rest of your speakers.

I might even set the crossover lower, around 60 or 70 with that sub. Nice little amp you have there, had one myself, good performer. I see you have a Sunfire processor, but I don't get the equalizer, the sunfire can do what the EQ can. As stated above, a better sub may be in your future. Nice to see another from Illinois, welcome to the club.HT SYSTEM-

I doubt that the solution for a difficult room is more bass from more sources... but no reason to exclude it from options to test.
Webb get your forum search on. Read old How-to by Dr. Spec. Then get thee a test disc and an SPL meter and get your calibration on...
EDIT: Good add, tony... webb has a lot of capability there, just needs a process to put it to use.More later,

Well im not "New" to HT but im definately just starting to learn most of it. The EQ is more for music listening, I use my mains alone when playing CD's/Ipod, btw ipods have horrid sound quality.
Ill try my sub around 75-80 for a bit, Thinking of upgrading to a psw 505 or 125, Anyone reccomend one over the other?B&W CM10 Mains, Monitor 40 Surrounds, B&W Cm Centre, PSW 125 sub/ CV 10" sub, Marantz 7701 Processor, Carver M4.0T, Carver 705x 5 channel, 60'' Sharp LED, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Sonos, and of course my trusty laptop for hi res ( for now) -

I really like your setup the only thing i would upgrade would be the sub. I went from a psw10(which i thought sounded damn good) to a velodyne sub and the difference is very noticable. IMO i think the 505 would compliment your setup very well. As far a the placement of your sub you will find the sweet spot for it but it takes time. Good luck and welcome to the club.Music doesn't lie. If there is something to be changed in this world, then it can only happen through music.
