Just got into watches in May last year. Got a nice Tag Heuer Formula 1 diver's watch. Then picked up a series 800 Movado chrono with a black leather strap. Those lasted me for a few months till I bought another Movado chrono as a Christmas present for myself. It has a rubber band but looks wise, it's my favorite. So then I found another Tag Formula on eBay I got a good price on and when it arrived, it was disgusting and dirty. Returned it and spent another $50 to get a Tissot white face, brown band watch, a black and orange Seiko and a Silver faced Invicta. So I went from two watches to 6 in a month. I have a problem but yes, I change them depending on what I'm wearing and my mood. Style... Never goes out of style.

Thought I'd bring this thread back to life, it's been a while. Anybody happen to buy a new Invicta watch during their big sale a thon last weekend on ShopNBC? I noticed a couple of CP members have had some experience with this line of watches.

Didn't get any at the sale a thon, but the Invicta 6350 is my daily work watch.

I think I have had it 3 years now. No issues and no scratches on the crystal (except for a few minor ones that can be seen with a magnifying glass). Really pleased with the watch.

i love the g-shock watches i have, wish i would have registered the warranty as they're getting pretty beat up at work, a new strap and rubber around the case would be awesome, but they might need to break to do that anyway... i had 3, one walked away at the gym, took it off when i got on the bench, my other two are the same in a different color, the g-shock glide, it has tides additional time display and 4 alarms, i love it as i know what time it is at home and here, and when we'd go out on the sound to boat, i knew the tide without getting online

I bought an Aquaracer off Notasuv maybe 2 years ago. This was my first TH watch and I wear it everyday. had to have the battery changed and also had them do their water pressure testing on it. I am going to buy a TH Monaco in the near future

I wear a Maurice LaCroix for an everyday watch, I have about 45 watches in all... I go for the look and uniqueness of the piece, no two are ever the same. My two dress watches are a Tag Heuer Monaco and a Tag Grand Carrera. The rest are all kinds of brands and prices, the price or status is not the driving force for me, its the way it looks and feels.

I no longer wear a watch, or any metal jewelery of any kind.

But I do have a nice burn scar on my arm from a metal watch band completing a 220volt circuit once.

I have a Citizen's eco drive titanium with perpetual calendar. I've had it about 6 years and it has never failed me. The calendar is nice because you set it according to leap year and you never have to change the date on it.

Ed Zachery! I work in the commercial hvac field, and I don't need anything getting snagged on a spinning blade, or helping me find ground.

I am currently wearing my Tissot PRC200 on a Hirsch Golfer strap. Sometimes I switch to the Tissot bracelet, depending on my mood.

I am actually in the process of picking a new watch as a present to myself for my graduation. I am trying to decide between the Tissot Seastar 1000 Limited and the Glycine Combat sub.

That Tissot is a beauty Z, I didn't realize they have such a rich history with Hollywood celebrities over the decades. Does this have the Swiss ETA co1.211 engine? They make some very fine movements.

Agreed on the Tissot Zeros, that's a SHARP watch. I really like that band, and am not usually a huge fan of leather straps.

I almost picked up another Breitling a few weeks back, but I'll never own a house if I keep buying toys instead of socking money away...

Thanks guys. This PRC200 is the older model that is quartz, but they do have a new PRC200 automatic that uses a ETA C01.211 movement.
