Broken bind post?

Hey guys,
First post. I have a small hometheatre just in my room. 5.1 setup with samsung avr730s (not exactly great). My issue is that the front right in my setup has a constant static like sound, regardless of the input going into the receiver. I tried switching speakers to see if I could isolate one bad speaker but it is just whatever speaker is plugged into the front right. I am assuming that the issue is the binding post but i really have no idea as I am a bit new to this. Also if it is the binding post what do I do? Do I need to buy a new receiver cause cash is tight right now.
Merry Christmas and thanks for the help!

Try switching your rca cables, left and right, if the static moves to the left side you will know it is an rca cable.
If its not a rca, then try a different source (cd player, dvd player ect.)and see if the static is still there.
Then it is most likely your receiver.

I'm using hdmi cables. I tried changing the speaker wires over. Whatever is plugged into the "right" speaker bind post gets the static. I replaced the cable too- still static. Im assuming it is the bind post. Does anyone in Toronto know where to get a receiver repaired?
Thanks for the welcome! -
Samsung ones. It is a htib but not an htib w just a DVD or blu ray it's an htib with a real receiver and hdmi pass through and lpcm etc etc... Does a good job for the money. It isn't the speakers though. I swapped one out with Boston acoustics surround from main home theatre downstairs and no change still static.
