The only audio related gift I got was one SACD - Stone Rose by Ola Gjeilo. Kind of new age - very pretty and mellow.
Other than that it was getting out of the hospital on Christmas Eve with a total hip replacement. We got freezing rain on DEC 12 and I stepped out the front door to get the paper. Went down on the first step, bruising some ribs and fracturing the top of my femur. The EMT's got there fast and they were able to get me to the ambulance after sanding and salting the driveway to get in. Thanks God for modern medicine. I'm home and mobile and getting around with very little pain. It will be a while before I am able to hook up my new subwoofer, though. It was delivered while I was in the hospital.
Front - Polk LSiM 705, Center - Polk LSiM 704c, Rear - Polk LSi 7
    Subwoofer - Epik Legend
Receiver (as Preamp) - Sony STR-DA3400 ES
    Amplifier - Outlaw 7125
    Television - 58" Samsung Plasma PN58B860
Blu Ray - OPPO BDP 83

My wife and I got Droid X phones for xmas. We like them so far. The audio quality is great. They have 3 microphones to cancel background noise and make actual calling on the phone sound better. Way better than the att phones we had before. The mp3 player sounds much better than the mp3 player I had.

Pots and pans mostly. I was extremely pleased; my ex took most everything kitchen related when she left, and I've been dragging feet on replacements since.

The best part was seeing family of course.

Well, it's time to get back into it anyway:smile:

I have a hard time cooking through the week since it's just me there, and I don't get home till 8 most evenings. Weekends+football make for great cooking time though.

Oh yea, I got that Black Keys dvd as karma from punk-roc as well! Going to give that a spin when I get home/check the mail tonight.

With all that went on just before xmas, we did end up being able to see all other family members which was really nice. As far as gifts, well I got 2 sets of new pjs, socks, dog walking pants(fleece lined), a facial hair trimmer from the dogs...my wife felt so bad cause she had no time to go out shopping for me (which is understandable considering the major loss) but she will be giving me the one best gift ever, in June a son or daughter.:biggrin::biggrin:
The dogs got her an 8g Ipod touch and I bought her a black onyx Tiffany bracelet.
I did get 3 shirts and a snowblower as well. (now I just need it to snow some more)
