adding a remote speaker to SurroundBar 360

I would like to get a remote speaker or set of speakers for an outdoor deck to listen to the same cable TV digital music channel that I am listening to inside on the Polk Audio SurroundBar 360. The problem I see is that there is no provision for additional speaker output on the "amp-DVD-tuner" part of the Polk Audio SurroundBar 360. The sound bar is connected to the amp-DVD-tuner with a simple but unconventional single plug.
The only other "output" available is the "Rec Out L&R" RCA jacks... would that work? I was thinking about using an adaptor from the headphone jack but that auto mutes the soundbar and and sub, which I don't want to do. I want to listen to digital TV cable music inside on the soundbar as it is now and the same station with a remote wireless speaker(s) on the deck.
I was even wondering which speaker bar single plug prongs were the actual speaker speaker wires to somehow splice off of that?
Any help you can provide would be great!
Thanks, Happy Holidays, Rob

Hello Rob,
I would imagine the record out can be used, however you would need to use speakers that are self-amplified. Meaning they would need to contain their own audio amplifier and volume control. The signal leaving the Polk would not be controlled by the Polk's volume control. This means the add on speakers would need to provide that capability.

That's awesome Ken, many thanks. I am considering Brookstone's outdoor wireless one speaker system that is amplified, has on & off and volume conrols on the speaker itself. This sounds like the perfect set-up!
