    How is tonite different than any other moonless night -- in terms of meteor shower activity... I thought we were looking at a lunar eclipse. No tells me anything around here.

    Too many clouds in Chicago. Question, did it turn red like they said it would ?

    Depends on where you were at. The mid-west people apparently ended up with a fairly dark moon with the moon high in the sky. But out here on the east coast, a couple hours before dawn, the moon was fairly low (about the 10:30 position)and we were already seeing the glow of daylight on the horizon so the moon never went dark but was actually a reddish orange. Looked like a piece of burning charcoal getting ready to die out.

    Watched it last night! I kept trying to get a good photo but they all sucked.
