You can just find other things for the cat to play with. Spray catnip elsewhere...
My cats are good and don't touch the speakers. the one time they did he somehow flew across the room (no not really).

I love my cat more than any of the other 4 animals .... but he knows not to touch my audio stuffs.

Cat's really really hate sticky feeling paw-pads. Tacky mats near the precious.

My cats are de-clawed. If the big one was bigger with claws, we'd all be dead(except the wife, they like each other). The little one has tipped over
one of the Rega's. Not likely any of them could do the same with the
    Proacs.
I prefer to de-claw and leave them indoors all the time. Safer for the cat, too.
There are coyotes and other critters out there that like snacks.
They only down side is they aren't as graceful without claws. But the little one still can jump up anywhere she wants. I think she can do a 5 foot leap.

thats odd, I've had cat/speaker moments, but they have no interest in the LSi's

they loved the vintage Polk cloth, eeesh!!!

they focus there time on the rat fur covering my bass cabs.......they love that. thank god i bought them used, cheap, and not to caring what they look like.

My Markbass combo however is a pricey object with a carpet covering, I keep it upstairs out of cat sight. i that gets scratched up, I would freak.

they make sprays to keep cats away from stuff, try rm. I heard pepper works as well.
