IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME....post a Christmas music video.

It's a week till Christmas. I know we all have differing tastes in music. I happen to really like Christmas music. Everything from Handel's "Messiah" (the single greatest piece of music ever written IMO) to Bing Crosby's "White Christmas" to Karen Carpenter's "I'll Be Home For Christmas" to Gene Autry’s "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer" to...well…you get the picture. I have a substantial collection of Christmas music...part of which I happen to be listening to right now. I thought maybe we could post some Christmas music videos for everyone to enjoy... plus it alllows you to share some of your favorites of the season. Thanks to the internet...some of your favorite Christmas music must be somewhere. Copy and embed it here as a way to musically celebrate the season...for at least a week. Show us what music YOU enjoy at Christmas.

I'll start. After "Messiah" one of my favorite Christmas themed classical pieces of music is Pachelbel's "Canon in D Major"...so much so it was the main piece in my wedding many, many years ago. Trans-Siberian Orchestra has a cool version called "Christmas Canon Rock". It's a little different...but I really like it. Enjoy.

Not exactly what I had in mind...plus I didn't find it all that funny...but to each their own I guess. And I did say post some of your favorite videos.

IMO...this is what happens when people get caught up in the materialism of Christmas...and not the spirit of the season. Whether your perspective is religious or simply "peace on earth...goodwill to men" it should be a time to enjoy. I know I will enjoy the season...and I feel sorry for those that can't/won't for whatever reason.

Three traditions that have come to be in my family which if they weren't viewed, it just wouldn't be Christmas (well that's a little goofy but you get my drift); Watching the "Grinch That Stole Christmas (and singing the song), watching "A Christmas Story" (Red Ryder Rides again), and Dicken's "A Christmas Carol" with Allastair Sim.

This is not what you had in mind Steve but it's a great scene so I'm posting away! BTW it was originally done in black and white . . . I'm not sure which I like better.

I took my niece to see them 2 years ago in Cleveland. Wow what a concert:eek: The music, the laser and light show, the fire, everything:eek: And ticket prices were not bad either at $47 per ticket for a 3.5 hour show. It was also their 10th anniversary so they did something a little special at the end since their first concert was in Cleveland:biggrin: They sang the Cleveland Rocks song lol.
