Very cool house. I really like the stone on the front and the hardwood floors. The basement looks great too. I say put a center channel in that alcove, get an acoustically transparent screen and projector. See that? You just bought a house and I'm already spending more of your money. Good luck with everything!

^ Haha, I've thought about the screen thing but after just getting the new 65" plasma there is no way I'm ready for a projector. The WAF of the projector would be lacking after the panasonic was accepted into daily use. We have the inspection today and while thats going on we plan to take a bunch more measurements to see if a pool table would fit down there as well. And after some careful planning on my part we have decided that we likely wont want the 47" LG in the bedroom and therefore it will get wall mounted on the other side of the basement for viewing during pool and darts.

Just over a month until closing and I just want to get in there and set everything up!

The deal on the home I posted pictures of fell through a few weeks ago. Though we were pretty upset with the way everything happened, we found something better. Our offer was accepted last week and part of the new deal was that closing would be as quick as possible. That means closing is TODAY! Heading over to the new place in about 30 minutes here to do the final walk and head to closing. I will get some new pictures up here when the time allows.

Congrats!!! I loved moving into my home and thinking that it had everything already done that I would want, fast forward two years and I have put in new hardwood floors, carpeting, painted everything (some rooms multiple times), went through two complete furniture sets for the whole house, etc... and the only thing I am still working on is the original game room concept. lol

Enjoy it, the project never ends, but it always stays fun.

Congratulations. My wife and I just purchased our first home last July. We stole the house and are paying almost nothing for the money but my God, the offer, inspection and closing process took just about all of our sanity. I'm not sure about CO but in CA the closing paperwork is endless. It took the better part of 45 Minutes to sign and initial everything. When it was all said and done we couldn't have asked for a more perfect home. The real payoff was watching our 7 year old daughter have that quintessentially American Christmas experience of waking up on Christmas morning and taking that walk down the stairs to a tree full of presents and stocking hanging on a fireplace. I hope that you enjoy your new home as much as we enjoy ours.

Alright guys, finally have everything set up and the way I want it... so following the rules of pics or it didn't happen, I snapped some pictures of my loft that I turned into the theater...

Here is the view as you come up the stairs:

    The power recliners:

And for the perverts out there who wanted the nude photos:

There will be more pictures to come soon of the living room where I wall mounted my 47" above the fireplace and have my owm3's mounted to the ceiling. I just need to hide the wires and touch up a few things before I'm satisfied.

12 foot wall. The loft is a 12 foot square but extends about 8 feet behind the chairs where the stairway is.

I built some sound panels for behind the towers today out in the garage as I was putting in some shelving... now I just need to head to Joann's and pick out some fabric to cover the frames.
