    By "Top Offender", I think we're talking about the poster who gets reported most, not who does the most reporting ?

    On a similar note concerning spammers....folks, it defeats the purpose of removing the offending party and their posts if you quote the post when you so graciously post for the rest of us that you have reported said offender.

    Not singling anyone out, I've seen this happen many times from many people. The whole point of removing the posts is to eliminate the spammer's benefit of having an active link somewhere for someone to click on. If you quote the post and it happens to have some info about what they are hocking or a link to said item/service they are hocking then the spammer has gotten what they wanted from the post.

    Don't give the spammer what they want. I wouldn't even make the "Reported" posts. If the post is at least 20 minutes old when you first see it, there is a good chance someone else has already picked it up, reported it and chose not to vindicate the spammer by acknowledging the existence of the post with even a simple "Reported".
