A while ago I found that I have to reverse the wiring on the left speaker in order to get the proper phase. The best suggestion was that the room could be really weird. Well, I moved the speakers and have the same problem.

I got to thinking, a long time ago I replaced the crossovers... could I have wired them wrong so the speakers are out of phase? :eek:

    If you think your speakers are out of phase, try switching the black and red and see if they sound right. Playing some test tones can help verify or just simply music. Usually if they're out of phase, the lowest octaves will sound overpronounced or there will be a drop in SPL.

    If they sound right to you when you do reverse it then stick with it.
