I have an original pair of SDA2's that have been very good to me but have moved on to better polks.ALOT of better polks. My question is should i bother trying to sell these or just harvest for parts?
i am leaning towards harvest but cannot decide.Grills are snagged up and cabs are ok.I just don't see much market for them.
Should i euthanize?

IMO the sum of the parts rarely equal the price of the whole.

I have to agree that you need to send them to another Polkie, like me. I will pay for boxing and freight. I have 2's and love them. Had the original SDA's, and these sound better.

+1, even when I move on to other speakers, my SDA's will be saved for my children or grandchildren, etc. They don't take up that much space.

There most certainly is a market for them, assuming the price is right. The only real limiting factor is that they are big and heavy, so WAF and shipping are issues to contend with. They are much better suited for local pick-up only sales, but that doesn't stop some people from driving hundreds or even thousands of miles to get a pair. Grill fabric is fairly easily replaceable.

After Keith's issues with shipping that is not gonna happen.I guess they stay together for now until i need a part, if ever.I have 3.1TL's the kid gets when i croak. If he doesnt like em he can chop me up and bury me in them.
I guess cold weather (a shed in the backyard) wouldnt be good for them.

Good choice. I think it is a shame to part out an intact set of SDA's. There are people who have never experienced the SDA sound. If you need to get them out of the house sell them in the flea market. Just so you know they are your speakers and your choicet to euthinize or not, but you asked.
