Can You Use Banana Plugs with Pold Montor 60's?

I was all set to install banana plugs on my setup, but found that apparently my Monitor 60's will not accept banbana plugs. Just tie down on the posts.
I am right or wrong? Never used banana plugs before, but I would appreciate anyone letting me know what the "score" is. Thanks!

You need to unscrew the caps all the way to remove the black and red cap pieces from the speaker. Then you can use banana clips (after putting the screws back on)"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Yes, what he said.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
