"Popping" Noise When Powering Up?

I've noticed a popping noise thru the speakers when powering up lately. It's that typical 'pop' we've all heard before but it seems to be getting louder.
Thanks

To the OP....Is it just your sub making the "pop"?~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -
Duh!!! Nice catch Tom. When my T763 was starting to go south, it gave me that popping sound when taken out of sleep mode. After awhile, I just lost all sound. It turned out to be a manufacturing defect and NAD replaced it with a T765.

meant to say Which amp and speakers ?

The startup volume preset is 45 db. But it didn't do this at all until a few weeks ago.Marantz AV7005

Okay. I just played around and the pop definiteely occurs when the NAD is powered up. The onkyo doesn't cause it but it is only the "pre" in my setup.
Starting to think the NAD may be the bogey.Marantz AV7005

Sounds like a bad mute relay in your amp or a bad cap.Political Correctness'.........defined

Here's what I've got so far.
1. The issue is a POP when powering the NAD from the right front speaker
2. I reversed the pre-out cables from the Onkyo on the rear of the NAD, left front and righ front (one and five)
3. The POP stayed with the right front speakerMarantz AV7005

verify that issue will follow. -

Yeah ... I actually hooked up another speaker (too much weight to be moving around) to the speaker wire from channel 5. POP and dead.
Believe it or not, this is the first piece of electronic (not computer) hardware I've ever had fail. I'm pissed!
Audio Advisors gave me the name and number of a local NAD repair shop - and I trust the warranty will take care of this, but I'm still pissed!
NAD had best take real good care of this issue ...Marantz AV7005

Trust me bro they will. As I posted earlier they replaced a four year old T763, which was their flagship at the time and I was the second owner, to a T765 with no problem at all and the T763 was out of warranty too. The only thing I had to pay at the time was shipping the T763 to their facility in Connecticut. Their customer service is akin to that of Polk's.
They did the same for Phil (pearsall001) . . . same deal and his was five years old. -

Okay. Much calmer now. Thanks. Here's what's happening:
I phoned Audio Advisor Sunday afternoon. They gave me the name and number of NAD's warranty repair shop right here in the Tampa Bay area.
Phoned said warrenty repair shop this morning and the man asked me about the process I used to determine the problem was in the amp. Check, it's the amp.
He commented that this amp was "bulletproof" and that he counldn't remember seeing one in for repair. He then said, "Don't worry. We've worked with NAD a long time and it will be taken care of."
Other than having to move that heavy sob in for repair - and with the much appreciated positive comments above, I'm feeling much better now ...

LOL! Dave, I forgot to mention having to actually move the heavy SOB around. What irritated me the most was having to disconnect alllllllll those wires and cables with only about two inches of space and then reconnect! -
I took the amp to the repair shop today. Husband and wife team with a tech or two and enough electronic stuff around to assure me I was in the right place.
Ten days to two weeks turnaround time (or for $50 you'll be the next workorder) and a professional workorder it was with a printed copy for me and corresponding barcode for the equipment. Feeling pretty good here. Then when Sarah (owner's wife) said, "NAD is great to work with and this won't cost you a dime. They are timely in paying us to take care of their customers."
Feeling better. Now we wait ...Marantz AV7005

Just an FYI Bro. I had my T773 in the shop three times and they found no problems. When I would get it home shortly after a movie started no sound. Finally the owner of the repair shop suggested contacting NAD customer service . . . that's when they replaced the unit with the new unit T765.
If you have this experience, don't keep taking it back to the shop call;

He will take care of you pronto. Again that is if the repair shop can't fix the problem or you have recurrences of the problem. -

Whoa! Thanks much for this! Wonder what the heck was going on that your shop couldn't find the problem. Not sure it matters, but were they NAD authorized for warranty work?
I'll keep my fingers crossed that it can be repaired but really good to have this just in case. Thanks again!

Yes, there are an NAD authorized warranty shop. The reason they couldn't find the problem or fix it because it was a factory defect.
