Bad News!!!

Those of you that know about our daughter having a heart transplant at 7 days after she was born.

Well a good friend that we have got to know through the years cause she has a daughter that had a heart transplant when she was 7 weeks old. Her and my wife have been very close friends through the years.

Well the bad news is her daughter has left us at the very young age of 18 due to heart problems..

She went into the hospital just 3 days ago. She got up and went to school like every other day and started to have chest pains. She was taken straight to children's hospital. They did some test and just this morning she was put on a list for another heart transplant, and she did not make it.

This is hitting real close to home for us for many reasons since we have known them for so long and have watched our children grow up, and we know that this can happen to us at any time..

Life is short for all of us but for these children there lives are much shorter.

Please enjoy each and everyday you are given!!!

For me I'm very worried about my wife, she is a mess and I have never seen her like this, well not this bad anyway in years, and I am not looking forward to going to a funeral for a child..

Again enjoy everyday you are given. Life can be hard and difficult but it is very beautiful as well. Enjoy your family and friends and let them know you care and love them..

Larry.

Wow. I'm so sorry Larry. Right now it sounds like you need to be strong for your wife. Things like this help me appreciate all that we have.

Larry, no words to express the sorrow for your friends family. That this hits so close to home with you must make it all the more hard to deal with. All the best for your friends, you and your family through this difficult time and prayers are with your daughter.

I know a bit of what you're going through tool...my wife had 3 nephews die in a fire a few years ago. They were all below 7 years old. Going to funerals for children is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do.
