    Thanks guys. Currently bidding on fleabay for a parasound 2205a. Whats a good price as to not overbid?

    Great score with the added woofer. I got my 15s and lsic for 750. 8/10 on the center and 9.5/10 on the 15s but no woofer for me.

    Get something over 200wpc and enjoy!

    You just missed a 2205a on Audiogon that went for 818.18... It was a great deal. A 2205a in good condition can go for as much as $1000... If you can get it for less than that, then I would say you are doing well. I use the 2205a in my setup and it is a powerhouse of an amp. Runs a full compliment of LSi's without breaking a sweat.

    Outstanding deal you got there congrats! Take it easy on the volume until you get a 5 channel amp of at least 200wpc @ 8ohms to power the speakers.

    Thanks. The one on fleabay is at $550, but of course it will go higher. The great thing is that the seller is only about 90 miles from me. He agreed that we could meet halfways to arrange a pickup. We'll see how the auction goes...
