If you're gaming online I wouldn't use wireless. Some people say its fine, but I don't. Hard wire yourself and thank me later.

BTW N wifi does that really work? I have 2 networks in my house goofy8 and goofy8-5G but can't see the 5G network?
I've even plugged my 360 into a wireless bridge with success and gamed on it just fine. But the hiccups you get with almost any wireless system often aren't worth it. -
I have a 10/100/1gig port in the bedroom tried it there and found port doesn't work... need to find out why.

You might want to try connecting directly to your router to make sure it's not a conflict there first.

No I tried my laptop to that port, and it didn't work either. Not sure what the issue was but checked wiring I made the patch cables in my "Ip closet" didn't see a problem, but all is working now loose connection?

Could be a bad piece of CAT-5 cable or a loose connection at the plug itself (which you could probably strip and re-crimp). Glad you got it working though.Equipment list:

I see if it acts up, it's always been there but not used. So a bit funny at first, I don't find that too odd seen that stuff many many times.

Probably loose, if moving things around in the closet fixed it. Better than something wrong with the in-wall. At least you know you'll have easy access if you need to replace something.
