If you're gaming online I wouldn't use wireless. Some people say its fine, but I don't. Hard wire yourself and thank me later. ;)

Oh it was DD5.1 for sure, that was nice but the video just blow me away.

BTW N wifi does that really work? I have 2 networks in my house goofy8 and goofy8-5G but can't see the 5G network?

I've even plugged my 360 into a wireless bridge with success and gamed on it just fine. But the hiccups you get with almost any wireless system often aren't worth it.

You might want to try connecting directly to your router to make sure it's not a conflict there first.

Could be a bad piece of CAT-5 cable or a loose connection at the plug itself (which you could probably strip and re-crimp). Glad you got it working though.

I see if it acts up, it's always been there but not used. So a bit funny at first, I don't find that too odd seen that stuff many many times.

Probably loose, if moving things around in the closet fixed it. Better than something wrong with the in-wall. At least you know you'll have easy access if you need to replace something.

Congrats on the purchase. Nice choice with the Halo Reach box as well. When the time permits pick up Black Ops and add me as a friend: R3d T34rz on Live bro.
