Hey,, hit my cup again will ya---it was a looong trip down by train.

George I love you man!!!!! I am sitting at the airport waiting to go home. A big thanks go out to Steve and his lovely lady for putting on a great fest. The food was some of the best I have ever ate. Thanks to Al and Patrick for bringing the great gear and the awesome giveaways. I love the new headphones not only do they sound great they are comfortable as well. It was great to see all the old faces again and meet the new ones. It is events like this that make me love this place more and more every year. We raised a nice amount for the Githens center and some great gear was given away. I will post more pictures once i get home. I look forward to next year and getting to see everyone again.

That's right Palm Tree's, Cool Breezes, Blue Sky's, Warm Sun.... Now saying that I predict Dark Sky's, Heavy Rain, No Sun, and even some Snow!

Date is set for Oct 7th Friday, Oct 8th Saturday, and Oct 9th Sunday to remove your butt and your stuff out of my house as the host (Me) will need a nap!

The Plan for now, I'm sure things will change as needed.... Stay tune.

What happened to the post and pic of Alex (Serendipity) that George posted? I mean, Alex is posting pictures of people, but doesn't want his picture posted? Sorry, but you are one strange and paranoid kid.

I agree. For someone who did not want his picture taken sure took a lot of pictures without asking anyone's permission. He is lucky that I did not break his hand when he grabbed my camera to delete a pic I took of him.

Well, if anyone is paranoid about identifying photos of him...it's most definitely yours truly....but I go out of my way to make exceptions for Polk-Fest and other 'significant' Social Rituals of the Sacred variety (ala French Sociologist, Emile Durkheim).

I know Dave took some of me last year, but I don't remember reaching for his camera. lol

So many good things and great sounds happened at Polkfest, lets focus on the friendships and the music. The 703s were a real treat. Each day their soundstage opened more and the detail increased. The highs were not harsh, though they did start out a little stiff in that direction. This is a speaker that I imagine will require 100 to 200 hours to fully relax and shine. By late Saturday night they were really singing and had everyone grooving to some Stones, Fleetwood Mac, and Early Clapton on vinyl.

yep, the Diz returns to vinyl...believe it or not!!!! Patrick drooled all over Stevie as he read her old-time liner notes and scoured her Rumours Pics........just saying...

some other things learned...KAB is quite the wine conniseur..during a trip to the pick up some adult beverages he educated me on the finer wines at 800 bucks a bottle behind this glass locked cooler door the place had...not sure if corporate would let one of those slip...I looked for that Korean souki?? stuff to let the magic carpet rides loose ala BDT 10's fest, but came up empty, the Makers Mark did flow though and the Keg floated in the end.

wanted to thank Diz for being a gracious host. the food was frikkin phenomenal. thank to polk for all the cool prizes for the raffle. the 707's and 703's made it a hell of an event. those 703s are something else, especially in a smaller room.

I forgot how hot Stevie Nicks was back in the day....thanks for the reminder
