A mighty thanks to Big Lou for running the raffle this year, he did his best to get his ticket pulled...the Polkies dug deep and I know the kids at the Githens Center will be just that
much better off, here is to George Grand for being the primary driving force behind the Club's members and the donations. The Fest is running great.

Thanks Big Daddy, and to Big Lou for running the show ("Who doesn't like the way I'm doing this? Raise your hand.") A big thank you to anybody who donated goods, services, or $. Thanks Al, Patrick and Polk.

Sounds like it was a good one. Nice job Diz.

Same here. New job, kids moving all over the country...just too much "stuff" going on. I even tried to find a flight late Friday that was "reasonable" after a meeting that was over about 4:00...no luck. PFs are a blast and I have only missed 2 in the last 8 years...but I just couldn't make this one work. If PF at HQ in 2012 is on...I will be there.

Nice job guys and nice job hosting Joe! It wasn't in the cards this year for me with a new house and an insane work schedule. If I didn't visit the forum while at work everyday, no way I could keep up as I have. I will definitely be in for next year as I'll be more settled and hopefully the insanity that is the housing/mortgage market will gain some consistency. It pained me to miss this even though this would have only been my third, it's such an awesome experience with a great group of Freaks!!

We want the photo's and some gear set-ups and reviews

Really sorry we missed this one! We had a family health crisis which finds me in Chicago today instead of Orlando. I e-mailed Steve on this. In-law health problems; we'll all be there soon enough, unfortunately.

Looks like a great time, as usual, but aren't those Amazings a bit too close?
I know when I first heard some at Lou's last year, the room was also too small for them and that it wasn't until I heard them at Jstas's that I was actually 'amazed'! They are very sensitive to room placement/size/treatments, etc.

I would have loved to have seen the new Polk bookshelves as I 'see' a pair in my future! That's all for now, we're back to the rehab center for my wife's mother (recovering from her second stroke).

Well, just got home a bit ago, yea, well, we will see who shows to upcoming Fests,, member run Polkfest's are for the hardcore, there are always reasons to come and not come, personally I enjoy the fests hosted by the members, as the personal touch's last forever, right now I am enjoying the afterglow of Orlando 2011....thanks to Steve and his wonderful lady Michelle for making this one of the best fest's ever, the food and hospitality was simply outstanding and it was awesome to meet a number of great new members who made the trip, I would venture some new long-term friendships were had as names were put to faces. As always the old guys picked up right where we left off at Jersey as the tunes played and libations flowed.

The tops were definetly popped on the 707 and the bookies as they received the most play by far at this fest, I bagged a pair of the new Polk Audio headphones generously donated by Al and the gang at Polk, they are very nice indeed. The speakers really began to shine the more we played them, they certainly benefit from break-in as the sound just kept getting more and more involving right from the box. We did bag some Old School Polk sound with Dr. R's 7b's, this speaker always shines and this fest was no different.

Patrick hung pretty well as he got his fill of tubey goodness, George's green bag got a work out as we tweaked and tucked the gear.....almost gremlin free at this one....but a midnight road trip to the inner sanctum of Diz's work world was needed to track down a special fuse that blew as well a road trip the following day to obtain the permanent fix.

Thanks to Chris St. Martin for donating the speakers for the Githens raffle, another great Polkie gesture...yes, next year HQ, the following, well, its time for the Mid-West boys to step forward for a full blown fest....get your thinking caps on for 2013 as we ensure the Fest continues to grow and the members benefit now and well into the future...

    as always...Its Polkfest..It's a Party..It's Awesome.

Thanks again for the great time..Steve, Michelle and Polk Audio.

An amazing weekend for all who attended. Thank you Steve and Michelle for being hosts who never failed to please. The food was amazing and placing names to faces was great (well at least the names were). There was "youth and opinion" along with "age and wisdom" (sometimes the two did not agree, but that is another story) Polk supplied great support and everyone went home enriched by their generosity. I have been a proud owner of Polk products since 1979 and I continue to be impressed by their style. The 703s were in my opinion the outstanding series at the party, mostly for matching up with the room size better than the 707s. As RT1 said they both did nothing but improve as the tunes were feed to them. Thanks to the cleanup crew for helping try to return Disney's home back to some semblance of order that it had before we arrived.

PS I am not moving those couches again. Just saying........

I'm glad to hear that everyone had a wonderful time, sounds like it was a great PF, sorry that I couldn't make it. Next year I will definitely be there (unless PF again conflicts with the Jewish holidays).

Those 703 and 707 sure look sweet, can't wait to hear them myself.
