rt1000p burn tweeter

Hello
My name is tal and im from israel.
I have a polk audio rt1000p front speakers.
today i found out the in the right speaker the tweeter stop working and look
realy burnt :frown:
How can i know what cause it ? can it be fix ? wher can i get a new one ?
Is it recommended to replace both of the tweeters ? what is the tweeter
modle ?

its gone, call Polk CS and see if its still available, if not ebay.

Is the Ebay SL6507 an updated version of original SL6506?

Is the tweeter model in the rt1000p is sl6506 ?

Witch series using tweeters that can match the ones in the rt1000p ?

As to what caused it, what gear are you using to drive your speakers with ?
Integrated amp, receiver, or AVR ?
Just curious, but that may be where the problem lies.Sal Palooza
