I have the 9s...great speakers!! I run them on Rotel electronics and have them perched on Target Audio 28" stands. I am not that tall and if I did it over I would probably go with a slightly shorter stand.

Thanks resperc, I'm leaning towards 24" metal (sand fillable) stands at the moment.

I think Sanus makes a heavy-duty fill-able stand (ultimate series?) that is 26". If I was buying again I would consider them

These are the ones I have. Got them "Scratch & Dent" from Crutchfield and I challenge you to find a blemish on them.

PSOVLSK, do you have the stands situated so that the two pillars are next to each other or in line with one another? Can that top plate be rotated? Do the speakers feel secure or do they overwhelm he Sanus?

It's hard looking at pictures of these online.

I posted a link to some Bowers Wilkens stands in another thread, they look good in person but I'm concerned 24" is a bit short.

    Thanks
    Jeff

Pillars are next to each other.

Not sure if the top plate can be rotated.

I feel the speakers are secure. There is less than an inch overhang on the sides and probably 4-5 inches overhang on the front and back. They would have to be hit pretty hard to be knocked over.
