This morning has me CRANKING the SDA1Cs to above normal levels.
My neighbors upstairs are very inconsiderate and have been raising hello all night until around 5:30am when It got quiet upstairs.
I've been cranking out the tunes since around 7:00am to get the point across.
They've already pounded on their floor showing their displeasure.
So I cranked it up another notch or so.
I'll keep them up all day and get the arseholes in a very good mood today.
I'll hit "Repeat" on the cdp and leave for a while.
I like quality clear loud audio.

You should shut everything down for 10 minutes, let them fall back asleep, then crank it up again. :D

    Kinda where I'm at.
I did about a 15 minute shutdown while I hooked up my Teac A-3300s and some tape and now I'm recording the LZ 4 disc set on some NOS Maxell 10" tape.
I'm in a much better mood listening at "adequate" rock volume levels. No friggin way they're sleeping through this day. Fork 'em.

My upstairs neighbors at my old place were the same way. A bunch of **** who had no idea how much noise they were making all the time up there and then as soon as 3 in the afternoon rolled around and I got some loud music going they were pounding on my door. Since i've moved I haven't had a single problem with neighbors in my new building and during my honeymoon my downstairs neighbors moved out and the unit hasn't been re-rented... Bliss

LOL! They're Elvis listeners. Motley Crue will be pulled out of the rack.
I'll go to the vinyl next so I can change out every 20 minutes or so.

Apartment life...NOT ideal. But hey it was Friday last night, Saturday today. As long as they don't mess with you on a work day and this does NOT happen every week. Perhaps you should talk to them? Or not?

I've got a 10 year old in school and they pull this crap during the week also.
Language barrier also. I don't speak Myanmar lingo. They're a very rude family. I'm only letting them know in my own way that I don't appreciate their inconsiderate behavior.

They've already had the local constabulary at their door courtesy of another neighbor.
I'm not one to call the cops. Child of the '60s and unless things escellate to extreme levels the cops can stay at the local donut shop with the pretty young gals.

Are you trying to annoy them or treat them ?

Ahhhh, the Chinese Water Torture method. Good suggestion.

If they like Elvis, download his version of "Here Comes Santa Claus".
About 4 hours of non-stop "Santa" at full power, and they'll come to learn to fear The Dark Side.

Some bass heavy track on repeat. Don't blow your ear drum up but let them feel a good bass. :D It got to be awesome when they can feel their underside is shaking.

while it seems like "getting even" by testing the upper amplifier limits or clipping ( Ouch )

it could result in unwanted reactions... neighbors disliking your "loud" response
    and notifying the authorities...

I'd mix it up, Debbie Gibson, followed by The Dillinger Escape Plan, followed by opera, followed by Bone Thugs, followed by some extreme death metal... really drive them nuts

I left for a while and left "repeat" on the cdp.
I just took the trash out and conversed with the neighbor.
"WE" have come to an understanding.
He'll be a courteous neighbor and I won't be a dick. Works for me.
Back to some listening at some comfortable volume settings now.

As a "victim" of this torture in the past I can suggest that for maximum displeasure you play the same thing over and over. I had a band back in the day that would practice at 3 in the morn and repeat the same song or part of the song again and again......terribly annoying
